Warranty Of Westerberg Aluminium Hulls

Westerberg Marine will repair or replace any part of the hull, which is proven to be defective under normal use, within five years from delivery of goods to the purchaser.

This warranty does not apply to:

• Paints, fabrics, chromium plated, aluminium and stainless steel finish due to the varying affect resulting from different climatic and use conditions.
• All products not manufactured by Westerberg Marine, including engines and pumps. Any warranty provided by manufacturers or suppliers of equipment, products and accessories carrying their own individual warranties, will be passed on to the purchaser.
• Installation of equipment by any other person.
• Parts, which have been altered, in a manner, which has impaired the original characteristics of the vessel.
• Owners of the vessel, other than the first owner to whom Westerberg Marine deliver the vessel.

Goods supplied by Westerberg Marine to the purchaser shall be at the purchasers risk immediately upon delivery to the purchaser’s custody and/or direction from the workshop premises at 186 – 190 Princess Royal Drive, Albany. The purchaser shall insure the goods from the time of delivery from Westerberg Marine’s workshop, at their cost, against such risks, as they consider appropriate.

Fitness For Purpose

The purchaser agrees it does not rely on the skill or judgment of Westerberg Marine in relation to the suitability of any goods for a particular purpose, unless the purchaser has indicated that use in writing to Westerberg Marine and Westerberg Marine has acknowledged in writing, that the goods will be fit for that particular purpose.
